We’re seeking a Paid Ads Specialist to audit, develop, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.). This role is ideal for a freelancer or contractor who thrives in a fast-moving environment, is data-driven, and can own the full paid ads process from strategy through reporting. Work may be ongoing part-time or project-based depending on performance and budget alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Agency Marketing Manger, develop and execute paid ad strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Build and manage campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn
  • Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and budget allocation
  • Create ad copy, basic visuals, and A/B test variations
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance; provide actionable insights and optimizations
  • Deliver regular reports on spend, performance, ROI, and recommendations
  • Stay up to date with platform updates and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience running successful paid ad campaigns (Google Ads & Meta required; LinkedIn or TikTok a plus)
  • Strong understanding of CPC, CPM, CTR, ROAS, and attribution models
  • Comfortable working with small budgets and maximizing ROI
  • Experience in a B2B, B2C, or eCommerce/retention-focused environment a plus
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a contract/project-based role
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Audit + Launch Project Scope

Phase 1: Audit

  • Review existing ad accounts (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.), confirm proper setup and create those that don’t exist.
  • Check tracking (pixels, GA4, conversions, attribution setup).
  • Evaluate landing pages and creative for ad-readiness.
  • Deliver audit report with:
    • Account health scorecard
    • Key gaps/issues
    • Priority recommendations

Phase 2: Strategy & Setup

  • Define campaign objectives (lead gen, sales, brand awareness).
  • Develop audience targeting + keyword research.
  • Build campaign structure (ad groups, targeting, budget allocation).
  • Create ad copy + basic creative assets (graphics/video clips may be extra).

Phase 3: Launch & Initial Optimization (30 days)

  • Launch 1–2 campaigns (Google + Meta recommended).
  • Monitor performance (CPC, CTR, ROAS, conversions).
  • Weekly light optimizations (bids, targeting, copy/creative testing).
  • End-of-project performance report with recommendations for scaling.
